ScooperGenie is a light-weight and easy to use pooper scooper.

The innovative disposable bag is constructed of a wire frame and a plastic bag. You simply insert the bag, scoop and eject. The patent pending wire frame is strong, but thin to easily get underneath the waste without smearing it on the ground.

Disposing of the poop bag is simple; just push the release button and the spring loaded release mechanism ejects the bag for you.

The handle is made of aluminum, weighs only 6.2 ounces and extends from 16 to 32 inches.

I first learned about the scoopergenie from a canine companions for independence graduate who uses a wheelchair, and she had posted that she had ordered one on one of the yahoo groups for graduates that I belong to. I was very interested and purchased one.

It has been a lifesaver. Not only it is much easier for me to clean up after my dogs -- I do not have to bend to the ground to do so. I was so impressed that I spoke to CCI staff and recommended that they investigate to see whether this would be helpful for the graduates.

I never do this sort of thing, but after using your product, I had to tell you just how much I LOVE this Scoopergenie! I am 26 years old and because of a spinal cord illness, I am confined to a wheelchair. I have a golden retriever whom I love to death, but for a long time before I had the Scoopergenie, I struggled with the issue of picking up after he went to the bathroom outside. There was just no way!

Then I came across your product online. It is revolutionary! I have absolutely no trouble operating this product. I only wish more people knew about it. I bought the scooper genie for my husband following his neck surgery and it has been a great success. He made sure our 50 lb. goldendoodle was well-trained not to pull while he was recovering through lots of walking, but we couldn't figure out how he was going to clean up after her since he couldn't bend over for six weeks. I have used the ScooperGenie now for a month and as a quadriplegic in a motorized wheelchair, I wonder now how I ever survived without it. I had to ask for help picking up my Service Dog (Golden Retriever's) poop but now I can pick it up by myself using the ScooperGenie. It has given me more freedom to go places on my own and pick up after my own dog. Pushing the button to release the bag is so much easier than trying to tie a knot and is not as messy either. I enjoy my walks with my Service Dog so much more knowing I can be independent using the ScooperGenie and it is easy and fun to use. The fact that it telescopes out, makes it easier to reach the poop from my wheelchair and to make it compact again allows me to carry it easily on my chair without hitting the ground. My new "Scoopegenie" is THE answer. I'm disabled and bending over to pick up after my dog was adding unnecessary pain to my life. Now the chore is so much easier! My days are less painful and my life as a dog owner is more fun. Fun for my dog "Samantha",(I call her "Sam")and I, and a simple way to pick up after my friend.

I have had her only since I rescued her in late October. Having the Scoopergenie is the best thing I could wish for because of my dependence on an electric scooter to get myself around. I just received my first service dog this summer, Cary. She is an amazing and fantastic dog, however, like other dogs, she poops! As you can see from the picture, I use a wheelchair and found bending over and reaching to bag Cary's feces problematic. My first solution was to purchase an aquarium fish net, remove the net and tape on a disposable bag... it kind of worked... but my invention often couldn't reach its target and the bag had a tendency to fall off when scraping! I envisioned grand designs of the device I wanted but didn't have the ability to make it so I contacted the Tetra Society (their mission is to create assistive devices for the disabled)... they suggested I try the ScooperGenie.

After checking out the information on the website, I immediately ordered the ScooperGenie... AND I am thrilled to report it is even better than my grand design! It is lightweight, fits in my knapsack, extends to the required distance, and has a simple way of disposing of its contents. I am SO glad that the ScooperGenie was suggested as the solution to my problem and would recommend it to anyone!

I can only go by my circumstance. That being in a wheelchair. I have found no other pooper scooper that you only need one hand operation! Although my first batch of wired bags were stronger. My experience is just wonderful. We board and groom dogs, I have my ScooperGenie hanging on the door knob. If a pooch has an accident in the store I grab the ScooperGenie and clean it just like that. Every one said "I got to get me one of those". I tell every one we will get some in the store soon.

I've been using the ScooperGenie for the past few months and I love it! It takes the mess out of the nasty job of picking up my dogs poops; just one sweep and the handy bag catches the mess. Every few days I clean up Pepper's poop off my back yard lawn. In the past it was such a chore  to do so but now with the ScooperGenie I don't have to bend down and I find that one bag takes care of severals days worth of waste- how great is that!
